How it works
By showing your support for our effort with a financial contribution you will become a participant in the Quest. There are different levels of participation available to both individual and commercial sponsors the details of which are listed below.
As of December 22, 2011 we have passed the $50K threshhold for committed support and are officially moving forward with the Quest! Our most sincere thanks go out to everyone who has made this possible - we are both humbled and inspired by your belief in us. Now the fun part begins! While the existing sponsorship gets the Quest started, we still need to raise considerable funds to cover the many significant expenses involved in this effort, so any and all additional contributions will be deeply appreciated.
Use of funds
The contributions collected will be combined with our own internally allocated resources to build the car as well as to cover testing, transportation, spares and other directly related expenses.
Individual Sponsors
Level 1 ('Start Line') - With a contribution of $25 or more, individuals will receive access to our Quest Blog (not available to general public until after the race). A limited-edition T-shirt and a DVD (to be completed shortly after the race) will be our way of showing appreciation for your support.
Level 2 ('Blue Sky') - 
Sponsors contributing $250 or more will have their name listed on this website.
All sponsors at 'Blue Sky' level and above will receive a Simraceway SRW-1 steering wheel controller and a $10 in-game credit so they can drive our cars in the virtual world! The game itself is FREE to download.
Our D1 and D4 are currently available in the sim and the Pikes Peak car is in the works. We have been working closely with Simraceway and have been very impressed with their dedication to delivering an accurate and authentic experience. The sim physics are so true to life that we are using it in actual car development.
During our recent visit to Simraceway's driving center at Infineon raceway we found that the lap times of our D4 in the sim match nearly perfectly (within a second) those in the real world. The SRW-1 wheel allows people to get an engaging driving experience in the sim without the expense and commitment of setting up a dedicated driving rig with wheel, pedals and seat. Now our sponsors can experience Palatov cars for themselves in the comfort of their own homes.
Level 3 ('Ragged Edge') - Individuals contributing $1,000 and up will be invited to attend our private test sessions at Oregon Raceway Park where in addition to being able to witness the testing and talk with the team they will be given short demo rides on the track by our test drivers. Additionally Level 3 sponsors will be able to attend our sponsor-only ORP trackday in June before we ship to Colorado for final testing. They will be able to drive their own cars on the track with hours of available tracktime. A Level 3 contribution CAN BE FULLY APPLIED TOWARDS A LATER PURCHASE of a Palatov car.
Level 4 ('Devil's Playground') - Individual sponsors supporting us with $5,000 or more will be able to test-drive various Palatov cars during our private test sessions and during the sponsor-only trackday. Their contribution will also be noted by putting their name on the race car and CAN BE FULLY APPLIED TOWARDS A LATER PURCHASE of any Palatov car.
Level 5 ('Summit') - In addition to the track test participation of Level 4, an individual contributing the full 'price tag' of the car will OWN THE RACE CAR after the race! (Limited to one sponsor, naturally). This is a unique chance to add a potential Pikes Peak winner, one you helped create, to your collection. All for a very modest cost comparable to some used road-going sportscars. Alternatively, the full amount can be applied towards the purchase of another Palatov car, after the race. Commercial Sponsors
Level 1 ('Garage') - With a contribution of cash, parts or services with a retail value of $500 or more your company's logo will be placed on the race car. Size restrictions apply, with dimensions comparable to a typical bumper sticker. Logo placement will be determined by Palatov Motorsport at our sole discretion. After the race we will supply high-res photos with sponsor logo visible for unlimited promotional use*.
Level 2 ('Engineer's Corner') - Commercial sponsors contributing over $5,000 in cash, parts or services will have the opportunity for larger logo and choice of placement. Logos will be placed within view of at least one onboard camera. In addition to high-res photos, after the race we will supply HD video of the car with sponsor logos visible, both for unlimited promotional use*.
Level 3 ('Finish Line') - A commercial sponsor contributing the full 'price tag' of the car will OWN THE RACE CAR after the race! Additionally, a Level 3 commercial sponsor will have control over graphics/color scheme and will have their logos prominently featured on the car. After the race the car may be used for displays, promotions, trade shows, and/or continue to be raced to gain further exposure.
